Cedric has always loved telling stories...
With experience as a production manager, writer, and producer, Cedric Hill is one of the industry's most well-rounded directors of theatre and film.
Over the years, he has worked at major venues such as the Public Theatre, NJPAC, and the Marjorie S. Deane Little Theatre (West Side Y), The New Victory Theater and collaborated with luminaries such as Maggie Reed, Marcia Gay Harden, and Sutton Foster.
In 2005, he founded To & Fro Productions, a film company dedicated to telling gripping stories with depth and sophistication. As executive producer, he wears many hats: from developing scripts, creating budgets, and casting to writing, engineering production strategy, and directing.
His last film, Noisy, won awards at Brazil International Monthly Independent Film Festival, The Indie Gathering International Film Festival, New Age Cinemas & Scripts, Silver Mask Live Festival (Los Angeles), Cambria Film Festival of Romance, Love, and Rom-coms, California Indies, World London Film Festival, Indo French International Film Festival, Gold Star Movie Awards, Arthouse Festival of Beverly Hills, After Hour Film Festival, Accord Cine Fest, Point Of View Indie Film Awards, Cinema Touching Disability, and Stonybrook Film Festival
Noisy was recently awarded Best Short at The American Pavillion of Emerging Filmmakers at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival.
His most recent, My Friend, has won awards at Silver Mask Live Festival (Los Angeles), Indo-French International Film Festival, The Flight Deck Film Festival, and Accord Cine Fest.
In 2022, Mr. Hill joined the faculty at Shenandoah Conservatory in Winchester, Virginia, as an Associate Professor, where he teaches Acting for Film, Auditioning, and Senior Showcase.
He is a member of The SDC (The Stage Directors and Choreographers).
